Celebrating African diaspora arts
Marking Rapport Festival's 10th anniversary, with screenings at Ritzy Picturehouse, Brixton, 19-21 March 2027.

Rapport Festival brings together artists and practitioners across multiple disciplines.
Screenings of narrative-focused film from across the international African diaspora.
Theatre performances exploring stories and experiences from across the international African diaspora.
Dance pieces exploring culture, identity and expression from the African diaspora.
Live music, DJs and performance across the festival weekend.
Visual art exhibitions and photography, including pop-up darkroom experiences.
Rapport Festival embraces visual artists, musicians, dancers, DJs, spoken word and live performance artists, filmmakers, theatre makers and creative agitators.
The festival is about creating an African diaspora arts movement — a call to action and an invitation to take a seat at the table and help build the house that table stands in. Anyone can get involved as an artist, practitioner, volunteer or audience member by signing up to the mailing list.
Founded by Lara Samuels, a theatre practitioner frustrated by the lack of diversity and opportunities for African diaspora artists, Rapport Festival was created to redefine the UK's artistic and cultural landscape, placing the spotlight on arts created by African diaspora practitioners across multiple genres and disciplines.
